I love to photo document the Wedding ceremony of Kishore & Nisha, As they had a quite a number of of rituals and customs, each symbolic of beautiful and noble sentiments. South Indian wedding traditions and ceremonies are no exception. As i Enter the venue , one notice things such as full-grown plantain trees tied to both the gateposts, festoons overhead of mango leaves, and screw-pine petals that never fade, notes of the Nadaswaram, the South Indian Shehnai, Kolam or Rangoli designs at the doorsteps and the like.
New connections are made when two families come together,and their relatives and friends become a part of it.Traditionally in India,we have matchmakers in the elders of every community,and they bring in marriage proposals to the bride’s family.They follow it up with a biodata of the prospective groom and his family.The biodata must include the horoscope of the groom.An astrologer is then consulted to see if the horoscopes of both bride and groom match(whether they will have a happy married life).Only if it is a perfect match,a formal meeting is arranged to see the bride,at the bride’s father’s home.The groom visits with his family to see the bride and if he likes her,he agrees to the marriage proposal.Today,the prospective groom is also allowed to have a few words with the bride before he gives his consent.If the girl also agrees to the boy,marriage is fixed.A date is set aside for the big day,taking into account auspicious days and the availability of the mandaps(large wedding halls) which are booked well in advance.Yes,this is how a marriage is arranged between two families of the same community

Tale of 2 cities
Well this story is about the beautiful couple like Yash Raj Movies. Beautiful South Indian Girl Avanthi and Handsome guy Srikath Both happened to be classmates and the best of friends for more than 7 plus years, and they travalled to US for there Higer studies and Love bossemed between them and now they have Decided to be One.
This is one of the best Couples i have done there E-shoot. They moved to India all the way from US to get married and wanted the blessings of there elders and friends for their Marriage .
Srikath in a Software Gig works for Microsoft he does all his programming to make Avanthi Smile.
Srikanth is from seattle and Avanthi is from salt lake city this is the Tale of 2 cites , Finally they become one on 9th Dec. lets Join to wish them a Happy and a wonderful Life a head
When I do my engagement sessions, my favorite part is asking about the couple’s proposal. How he did, when he did it, how did the girl respond etc. I want to get ALL the details! That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised when Avanthi and Srikant shared their story. We made Srikanth Propose Avanthi again today and She made him on his feet for 20 mins , it was fun. U guys make a Lovely Pair
Kishore & Nisha’s Amazing EShoot
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe how excited I am about this shoot! I’m seriously in the middle of packing for Kishore & Nisha’s wedding in Hyderabad and writing this blog post at the same time. We’ll be in Hyderabad Next week on an awesome adventure shooting their grand and incredible wedding! When I saw the amazing photos from this shoot I could NOT wait to blog it. I LOVE, love, love couples that are in love! It’s the kind of love when you just can’t stop smiling for ear to ear. When you can tell that when they look at each other that there isn’t anywhere on this planet that they’d rather be than together. Kishore & Nisha’s are one of these head over heels, hot for each other in love couples that we just adore! We felt so privileged to be the photographers to capture their love with our lenses.
The Engagement
One of my favourite services that I offer is that of the engagement shoot. I include an engagement shoot in my wedding package and have gotten rave reviews from all my couples.
My couples love the e-shoot. By the time they’ve gotten around to finding their photographer, many couples have pretty much finished all their wedding plans. All there is left to do it twiddle their thumbs and anxiously wait for the day. The e-shoot gives them something fun to do while they wait and gets them even more excited for their day. They get to practice being photographed together which eases their nerves and helps them get to know me and my shooting style.
I love the e-shoot. It gives my couples a chance to get to know me and my style and eases their nerves about the day and being in front of the camera. It secures their heart that they definitely hired the right photographer because they have fun, they love their photos and they get to know me as a friend, not just as their photographer, as we walk around our locations, laugh and have fun.
Business-wise, the e-shoot is a great opportunity to add more money making potential to your wedding package. Couples can order wallet-sized prints for their invites or save-the-date cards. They can order large mounted prints to display on an easel at the wedding which guests can sign in lieu of a guest book. My personal favourite is the e-shoot guest book.
